Polymer roofing systems are made of synthetic, composite materials with definition and profile to replicate slate and cedar.  DaVinci shakes are an excellent alternative to real cedar shakes with less weathering and double the lifetime.  DaVinci slate is a great economical alternative to true slate and carries much less of a weight load.
